WHO WE ARE

We are the Fight Supply Company, LLC here after referred to as “FSCo”.  For more information, please see our Terms of Use.

This Privacy Policy describes how your personal information is collected, used, and shared when you visit or transact with a FSCo website, (the “website”).

At the FSCo, we respect the privacy of all visitors who access and use our website.  The information we collect on the website is used to understand how we can enhance our website and improve your experience.  This policy describes the circumstances in which we collect personal information, why we collect it and how we use it.  Our policy also describes the choices you can make about how we collect and use your information.

COMMENTS

When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.

MEDIA

If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.

COOKIES

Cookies are small data files that a website you visit may save on your computer or handheld device that usually includes an anonymous unique identifier.  A cookie may contain information (such as a unique user ID) that is used to track the pages of the sites you have visited.  We use cookies for the purpose of determining whether you have visited a particular page before, so that you will not have to view introductory information that is played for first-time visitors.  We do not store personally identifiable information in your cookie.

Our websites and those of our products may use cookies for user authentication, keeping track of your preferences, promotional campaigns, tracking our audience size and traffic patterns, and in certain other cases.  We may include small graphic images in our email messages and newsletters to determine whether the messages were opened and the links were viewed.

Third-party advertisers may also create and access cookies, which will be subject to their privacy policies – we accept no responsibility or liability for the use of such third parties’ cookies.  If you do not wish cookies to be placed on your PC or handheld device, then they can be disabled in your web browser.  The option to do so is normally found in your browser’s “security settings” section.  Please note that permanently disabling cookies in your browser may hinder your use of our website as well as other websites and interactive services.

If you leave a comment on the website you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies.  These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment.  These cookies will last for one year.

If you visit a FSCo website login page, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies.  This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.

When you log in, we will also set up several cookies to save your login information and your screen display choices.  Login cookies last for two days, and screen options cookies last for a year.  If you select “Remember Me”, your login will persist for two weeks.  If you log out of your account, the login cookies will be removed.

If you edit or publish an article, an additional cookie will be saved in your browser.  This cookie includes no personal data and simply indicates the post ID of the article you just edited.  It expires after 1 day.

EMBEDDED CONTENT FROM OTHER WEBSITES

Articles on a FSCo website may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.).  Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.

These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracking your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to that website.

DEVICE INFORMATION

When you visit a FSCo website, we automatically collect certain information about your device, including information about your web browser, IP address, time zone, and some of the cookies that are installed on your device.  Additionally, as you browse a FSCo website, we collect information about the individual web pages or products that you view, what websites or search terms referred you to the website, and information about how you interact with the website.

Additionally, when you transact with or attempt to make a purchase through a FSCo website, we collect certain information from you, including your name, billing address, shipping address, payment information (including credit card numbers), email address, and phone number.

HOW WE USE YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION?

We use the Order Information that we collect generally to fulfill any orders placed through the website (including processing your payment information, arranging for shipping, and providing you with invoices and/or order confirmations). Additionally, we use this Order Information to:

  • When in line with the preferences you have shared with us, provide you with information or advertising relating to products or services.

We use the Device Information that we collect to help us screen for potential risk and fraud (in particular, your IP address), and more generally to improve and optimize our website (for example, by generating analytics about how our customers browse and interact with the website, and to assess the success of our marketing and advertising campaigns).

DATA RETENTION

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.
